The pages on this website describe the services Coastal Inspections LLC offers. They are not an inspection agreement and they do not form part of one. Every inspection is performed under a separate written pre-inspection agreement signed before the work begins, and that agreement governs the scope of the inspection, its limits and its exclusions.
Inspections are visual and non-invasive, performed in accordance with the standards of practice applicable in the state where the property sits, and limited to what is safely accessible on the day of the inspection. Nothing described on this site should be read as a guarantee about the condition of a property, or as a promise that any particular defect will be identified.
An inspection report is prepared for the client who commissioned it and for that client's use. It is specific to one property on one date, and it is not transferable to a later buyer or to a third party without written permission.
Coastal Inspections LLC operates under Maryland Home Inspector License #29830 and Delaware Home Inspector License #H4-0010273. Services requiring a license not held by Coastal Inspections LLC are not offered here.
